don’t forget about the “FIND” funtion.
this is separate from the search box you are typing in right now.
it’s the magnifying glass at the bottom of the project panel

“Find assets matching criteria
For more detailed searches, you can locate any assets in your project that meet criteria you specify. For example, you can search for a video clip that has a certain word in its Name column and a phrase in its Comment column.
Do one of the following:
Click the Find icon at the bottom of the Project panel.
Select the Project panel, and press Ctrl + F (Windows), or Command + F (Mac OS).
In the Find dialog box, select the name of the columns to search from the menus under Column.
Select the appropriate operators from the menus under Operator.
Type in the characters you want to find in the specified columns in their respective Find What fields.
If you’re searching for two criteria simultaneously, do one of the following:
To find assets that match both criteria, select All from the Match menu.
To find assets that match either criteria, select Any from the Match menu.

Hi….
I’ve never used Vegas myself. I did have a friend or two involved in Vegas product development. I had a look at it. At it’s roots, it’s really based on Sound Forge so it translates a lot audio conventions into a video workflow (overlapping creating dissolves, looping of clips, etc.)
This makes it pretty unconventional as far as NLE’s are concerned.
This isn’t to say that’s a bad thing. Lots of that stuff is pretty cool. But many of the norms you take for granted coming over from Vegas probably won’t be found in PPro right off the bat.
My guess is if you can convince your fellow Vegas users to start adopting Ppro…and you can make enough of a ruckus for features you miss…..Adobe will respond.
In it’s current incarnation PPro has adopted a lot of FCP, and Avid characteristics and even made them better or more modern. So anything is possible with this team!!

Are you doing it per clip or on an adjustment layer?
if you can do it on an adjustment layer and set attributes of the effect to scale with the layer….
then you could start with one layer and simply split it up and/or trim as necessary to adjust the timing….
maybe?

Depending on if your Project panel is showing the reference picon at the top of the panel….
Click the clip in the project panel…
you will see the preview icon at the top of the project panel update.
next to it, you will see a small triangle….
if you click the triangle, a pop up list will show all sequences the clip is used in…and then by selecting an entry, the sequence and clip will be exposed.

but for the 1 subscription to the entire suite….isn’t that roughly 2 individual apps?
