    Hi everyone,

I like to copy and paste my clips from Premiere TO After Effects. However, when I try from CC to cs6, it doesnt seem to work. Is there something I’m missing or can this not be done?

I hate dynamic link, so thats why I dont do that.

    Cheers in advance.

My understanding…is versions need to be in lock step for this to work…

Seems that way. Cant import sequences or ae projects into premiere. Didnt know that was going to happen. I wouldn’t have upgraded to CC if that was the case.

Ive still got cs6 premiere on my machine, but all the presets are gone. Naughty adobe forcing me to face forward.

What issue have you had that keeps you from using DL?

    Well….

silly question….did u subscribe only to PPro CC or to the suite?

cuz u could simply go AE CC as well and that solves the problem.

    Hi Alex,

yes i’m only subscribed to to premiere pro on cc. I know upgrading my cs6 ae would work, but Im not at a point where i can start another monthly sub.

    Hi Paul,

I find DM sluggish and a little bit destructive. Once you’ve sent something via dynamic link, thats it. Its dynamic linked forever.

    Really dont like it.

    OK…..I’m not a sales guy…. (anymore) 🙂

but for the 1 subscription to the entire suite….isn’t that roughly 2 individual apps?

    I’ll say no more….

Probably. But, at the minute, I can still only afford the one.

Can you drag a clip from PPcc to AEcs6 and have the linking work?
