You could try rendering the screen capture video out of Premiere as an AVI or MOV then re-import. Might play better then.

The way I’ve dealt with this since CS2 is to manually move the audio down to the track I want. The only way I know that works.

Could you describe the problem you are having in detail? ‘Cannot export to tape’ doesn’t tell us much.

This might be a stupid question, but have you rendered all effects?

I’ve experienced this, but only when using a Blackmagic Intensity or Decklink card. If you delete all your preview files, then re-render you should be fine.

You could try turning off ‘Abort capture on dropped frames’ under Preferences/Capture. Not sure if that will help though.

Could be a corrupt media file. Try deleting files from the project in chunks and then try to save. After some trial and error, you can narrow down the file that is the culprit.

In the project pane, hit the drop down menu in the upper right corner and you will see an option for ‘thumbnails’.
