Thanks for confirming this behavior guys. But, I guess if it only bugs a couple people, it’s probably one of those things that will never get fixed. 🙁

I work at a television station and cut episodic promos daily for syndicated programming. This requires me to open multiple projects every day, and each project has multiple bins that need to be open for verifying assets at a glance.

ALT-Left Click will twirl down all bins, but this is still not ideal.

I’m guessing this bug is related to the recently mentioned one that is causing open sequences to not “stick” (which I’m also experiencing):

I’ve had this same annoying issue as well.

This, along with PPro twirling up my bins is getting me very annoyed.

So, you want them both in the middle, occupying the same space??

Anyway, to change the position on multiple clips the easiest way is to change the position on one clip, highlight the MOTION parameter in the effects control pane, CTRL-C to copy. Highlight all the other clips (by lassoing) and hit CTRL-V to paste.

If I understand what you’re trying to do, the easiest way I can think of is to nest your 2560×720 seq into your 1280×720 seq and adjust the scale to fit the new (smaller) frame.

Exactly why I don’t use DL – I do it the ‘old-fashioned’ way.

Well, as you probably already know, you can change the label color by right-clicking on the clip in the project panel and selecting ‘Label’.

However, clips already in the timeline will not update with the new color. You must either change the label color before placing the clip in the timeline, or ‘Replace With Clip’ after changing the label color.

You can also change the label color by right-clicking on the clip in the timeline, but this will not update in the project panel.

Same deal applies to changing clip names – something I find very annoying at times.

Are you exporting directly or using Media Encoder? Whichever you are using, try the other. 🙂
