PPro CC and Bin state
Just got PPro CC and have run across an issue with bins.
In PPro CS6 (and all previous versions), if I have a bin twirled down (open) it would be that way the next time I opened the project.
In CC, if I open a different project in between, the bins will all be twirled up (closed). This really makes me angry. 🙁
Is there any way to change this behavior?? I could not find any option or preference that would help me.

I don’t see that behavior on either of my machines. Macbook Pro (Early 2013) or 27″ iMac (Fall 2013).

For what it’s worth I was just about to post that I didn’t have the same behaviour as you until I read your post again.
In CC 2014 I do have the same behaviour as you if I open a different project in between as you note. If i just close and open the same project then the bins retain their state as I suspect your CC does..
I am sorry but I don’t have a solution and in answer to your other question it doesn’t bug me. Ok, maybe a little.

I stand corrected. I certainly do see it as I go from project to project. But I’m with Matt, it doesn’t bug me. Seems like a good way to start I guess. Sorry if it’s causing you any wasted time.

Thanks for confirming this behavior guys. But, I guess if it only bugs a couple people, it’s probably one of those things that will never get fixed. 🙁
I work at a television station and cut episodic promos daily for syndicated programming. This requires me to open multiple projects every day, and each project has multiple bins that need to be open for verifying assets at a glance.
ALT-Left Click will twirl down all bins, but this is still not ideal.
I’m guessing this bug is related to the recently mentioned one that is causing open sequences to not “stick” (which I’m also experiencing):
