Good luck Rafael, I’m in the same boat, EX on the way, but I won’t be pushing my luck with a simultaneous upgrade to Leopard.

Thanks Jerry but we’re a long way into this project and it’s all SD so I think I’d prefer to stay that way for this.

I do take your point though!

Jeremy, you are a hero sir! It works flawlessly

It was having the secondary format needing to be 1080 that confused me. Also with ‘down conversion’ set to crop I can get 4:3 which is ideal for this project.

    Thank you so much.

I agree but do find my timeline more responsive with the IoHD if I’m working ProRes, espescially on the MBP. I think it’s because the IoHD is native ProRes.

Me too Rafael, but remember Rob could capture ProRes directly – not saying it’s a better alternative mind you! – and it would require a capture card or bob.

I believe the EX1 will do a downconvert as well, so it might be worth a comaprison between the camera doing the conversion or the IoHD

Shame it means an upgrade to Leopard. I for one am not rushing into that, so will still delay my purchase of the mxo.

What was even more surprising is that my Commotion Pro (a long since unsupported app) works perfectly with ProRes.
