I’ve positioned it at the top and have it hidden. It rarely show up now, I guess there’s only a single pixel row at the top of the screen that activates it.

Good idea though emptying it of most of the contents.

Interesting Scot, that’s what I thought which is why I called Sony. I did notice the SD SDI spec on the 355.

I wonder what comes out of the HDSDI bnc when the 350 is in SD mode, there’s certainly a signal as my IoHD recognises something. It registers 1080i50 but displays that in red whereas a genuine 1080 signal is black.

Hmmmm, see what you mean. I just tried copying all the files back to the XDcam disk. That disk seems irreversibly locked?

I’ve never tried this but can’t you just copy/paste all the files over via the OS.

I’ve done this to an external drive before importing into FCP.
