There are actually a few hardware solutions out there for speeding up h.264 encoding, such as this one:
Plus, there are also programs that speed it up drastically, at the cost of file size – such as PQDVD or Goldfish HD (www.goldfishHD.com). Actually Goldfish HD is far better for saving file size – but not nearly as good as Squeeze.

Do a search in the forums for “logo Dissolve” and tons of stuff will come up. This sort of thing really requires a particle system such as wondertouch particleIllusion or trapcode Particular.

Nope – then you create player controls in Flash, and export as an SWF. Then you embed in a web page with a web design program like Dreamweaver. Or you can import the final rendered video into camtasia, and then export as FLV – it will output player controls and webpage – but it has the camtasia logo all over it.
Again, because there are so many aspects to this, I’ve put it all together on the DVD I mentioned – Internet Killed the Video Star – which should be available for purchase in the next day or so at https://training.creativecow.net/
Visit the flash forum for help on adding player controls to your FLV.
I would spend more time explaining this, but I am leaving the country, and am on my way out right now.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but in my case I use Camtasia to capture, and then edit and add motion graphics and zooms in AE. if you plan to just do simple editing, then an editing in an editing program like Final cut or premiere or vegas is more appropriate.

If you Ram preview, you’re audio will play back. Or if you hit the . key on your keyboard it will play back, without video.

AE is not an editor, and because of that, there is no real time playback – which means no audio plays back with the video unless it’s cached (RAM previewed).

We’ve talked about this a lot in the forum – This is a RAM issue.
Split your image up in photoshop into smaller pieces, and then bring in the individual pieces and then arrange them, and then parent them to a Null. Use the null to control the position, rotation…etc.

It’s on the list of possibles. However, I’m leaving for a trip to the UK next week and will be gone for a bit. We’ll see.
In the mean time, check out the imagineer forum here at the cow, and visit the Imagineer website where they have a roto tutorial up (on the motor page, I think, but same tools). It’s not easy to see everything being done, because of the size, but it does explain a lot.
Ultimately,from Mocha (or motor) you either render a track matte or an image sequence with alpha channel.
