Thinking particles can do everything Fizz can do, and lots more, but it certainly doesn’t have the same ease of use. Thanks to the author’s generosity (David O’Reilly) Fizz is now free. You can get it from https://www.bonkers.de

Reelsmart Motion Blur is an excellent AE plugin–particularly if you use it with Core Arsenal’s Vixol plugin (for Cinema) to provide vector info.
But with regard to Cinema, have you tried using vector motion blur instead of scene motion blur? The results are so-so, but it’s hella faster.

Should work without any problems. Does the tex show up in the material manager? Are you trying to apply it to the nurbs cap? If the latter check page 236 of your manual.

I’m not sure, but you might have to use scene motion blur. Or better yet, do it in post.

There’s a plugin called Storm Tracer that does volumetric grass (placard based).
Regarding the splines, you should connect them before you extrude (Function>Connect (I think)).

Give the object a compositing tag and enable an object ID in the tag. Then add the object ID to your multipass render.
