I am trying to put a photograph onto a extrude nurbs object in C4D…basically I want it to look like the photograph is floating in 3D space…I know I could do this oin AE but I want the photo to reflect on the BG.

I applied the PSD photo to a material in the colour channel…it renders out as gray…no pic. If I apply it to the Luminance channel alone or in conjunction with the colour channel it renders out pure white.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Does the PSD file have layers? If so flatten it and save it as a tiff or jpeg.
    hope it helps.

Should work without any problems. Does the tex show up in the material manager? Are you trying to apply it to the nurbs cap? If the latter check page 236 of your manual.

Apply the video to the “Color” texture field, and make sure you have sufficient lighting on the surface of your “screen” or else the image won’t show up when you render. Be sure to set your Animation settings as well.
