You’re not missing anything — Cinema can’t do fractional frame rates. Generally the .022 fps difference isn’t a problem but if you have a longer piece you may have to re-time the Cinema footage a little in post.

You can also use the spline graph to control the sweep’s scale. Might want to use a combination of that and displacement/bump.

It’s pretty simple to use and for the most part works well. It works through your web browser. You set up the host program on one machine and the clients on your other other machines. Fire up the html-based interface and you have the option to load jobs/files and to add them to your queue. Another page will show you what frames are assigned to the various clients and what progress they’re making. It also shows a thumbnail of the last frame rendered for each client. The results are collected on the host machine.

You can replace the footage in AE but it won’t change the reflection on the floor.

The easiest way to deal with it is probably to split the screen geometry from the rest of the TV and give it a sketch tag, where you can turn off shading.

Okay, long time since I messed with MSA, but as it turns out you can do this with MSA’s own tools — no need for Xpresso. You use a scale spline as in the file below and as explained in the MSA html docs.

Muddy and soft *looking*, or does it have to react to forces as well?

You can also use the F12 hotkey to temporarily disable the axis.

You’ll use the Mograph Multishader for this.
