    Hi there,
I’m working on a project that requires internal organs.
most of them are quite easy to make.
I’m finding the Intestine a bit of a problem tho, I have placed an circle/spline in a Sweep nerb to create the general shape witch is OK but it doesn’t look very realistic.Intestine have lumps and bumps. If any one has any suggestions I would be most grateful.
    Thanks, Martyn.

I would use a sweep nurbs like you discribed and add a texture with displacement in it.
Make sure to check sub-polygon displacement.

You can also use the spline graph to control the sweep’s scale. Might want to use a combination of that and displacement/bump.

There are some organic shaders on Maxons site in the Downloads/Materials and Goodies section that might get you started
