You can’t reorder the layers in the shader but you can influence how they’re assigned to clones with affectors set to color mode. For example, you could assign a plane effector to the cloner and then adjust the U and/or V transform sliders, or you could use a random effector to assign the images randomly.

Also play with the effectors’ Min/Max sliders to tune the effect.

I don’t use Boujou but with other tracking software the answer is usually to save in Lightwave format.

Click on the options button in the render>save dialogue (next to Avi Big) and see what compression codec you’re using and with what settings. Sounds like a compression issue.

I don’t think it’s possible with the vibrate tag.

If you have MoGraph, however, you could use a Shader effector in Deformer>Object mode, set to affect position, with a looping noise in the Shader tab to achieve what you want. You might want to use one Shader effector for each axis of movement (i.e., one for x, one for y, one for z).

I hate to say this, but the only way I know to get that chisel bevel is to model it by hand. I’ve never seen a 3D program that can do it automatically. So easy in Photoshop — so hard in 3D.

[Lennart WÃ¥hlin] “With Vray1.1, at least, you can use regular Cinema materials.
So for editing you can have the animated Cinema material, either on
your subject or maybe just on a dummy object visible to the camera.
Then for rendering use the VrayMat only.”

So the theory goes, but in my experience native materials are completely blown out unless you turn the lights waaay down.

You could try Structure>Spline>Round, but it’s a bit of a brute force method.

Right click on any toolbar icon and select “Command Manager” from the context menu. Type 1 into the shortcut filter and it will bring up whatever it’s assigned to. Then you can reassign it, or add your command to it, in the shortcut box.

Ah — VRay! I think you’re out of luck there. Probably a question for the VRayForC4D forum.

Rendering as viewport would work. The material will animate in the editor if you go to the material’s “editor” tab and check the “Animate Preview” tab.
