undersample the video
1) right click video clip
2) Properties
3) undersample – change it to less than default

– then add velocity envelope and adjust speed.is that what you want?

2) remember, you can turn on 3D for the track, in the track header compositing modes, and distort the picture further, ie along the Z plane too.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Taiwan, and some in China & HK. Not yet Laos………..

when you import them, are you using the ‘import image sequence’ method?
in case not, try
FILE/IMPORT/MEDIA/ – the tickbox in bottom left corner
