How are you attempting to change the properties of the effects? via the Audio Mixer or via the ECW (Effects Control Window. If you are using the mixer, then try using the ECW to see if it helps and vice-versa. Also, if you could post a screenshot or email it to me, it would give us a better idea of what you are trying to accomplish.

When you plugged in the external harddrive to your laptop, does the drive letter differ from the desktop one? If so, I would suggest changing it back to the original drive letter.

What background processes is your system running? Try turning off everything, including your AV software. Also, defrag your drives often.

I don’t think it is compatible with Premiere Pro 1.5. The package is designed for audio editing programs and not for NLEs.

Try reinstalling the plugin to see if that help. If not, try deleting your Premiere Pro preference file during start up. This may or may not help. If that does not work, I would call up Boris to see what the problem might be.Aanarav Sareen

You can use Adobe Photoshop and simply rename the file name to create a different subtitle. Just remember to save it with an alpha channel.
