I looked back at the post archives, but it didnt solve the issue.

This is the deal. I am using my main pc to work on the DVD project. I built the project, saved it to my external hard drive, and then tried opening the project on my laptop.

It looks as if its importing all the project assets, when I get the “FILE ERROR 16019”.

I tried copying the files from the external hard drive to the local drive on my laptop…still doesnt work.

    Any suggestions would be great.

    Thank you.

When you plugged in the external harddrive to your laptop, does the drive letter differ from the desktop one? If so, I would suggest changing it back to the original drive letter.

    Aanarav,

I changed the drive letter on the external hard drive to be the same as the drive letter on my desktop and it works now.

    Thanks a million….
