Well, not really. But there is a work around. Import your new image into the time line and make sure that the duration of the new image is the same as the old one. With the old image still in the timeline, right click on the image > copy. Right click on the new image > paste attributes. That should do it.

In Premiere, export your video as an AVI file and import it into a DVD authoring program, such as Encore DVD (trial avaialable) -
Disabling clips simply makes the clip black and is exported regardless. If you do not want a specific clip to export, remove it from the timeline.

Adobe announced After Effects version 7.0 today. All Trapcode plug-ins render correctly in AE7 but there are some UI problems with Particular, Echospace and Sound Keys. New versions of these plugins will be available for free. Also, all plug-ins will get new installers that are AE7 aware. All this will be available shortly here at the Trapcode website.

Did you try the update posted on Adobes site? I have used it a few times with no problems.

I don’t think that the progressive DVD will make much of a difference, because you are primarily using stills which can be of any duration. I would personally create the project in Encore 2.0 and utilize the slideshow feature.

Use one of the garbage matte filters.

What effect are you trying to apply to it? Not all effects will work with the invisible layer. Only effects that generate something (such as Timecode) will follow through.
