All effects DO NOT work with transparent video, only a few selected ones. From my expereince, most of the effects that work are ‘generate’ ones, like the timecode effect.

Another of my pet peeves is trying to go to the head of a timeline when a clip is selected. Hitting the home key takes you to the head of the clip. You have to deselect it before you can go to the head of the timeline. Couldn’t there be a Windows ctl-home function that takes you there regardless? You’ve gotta wonder if their designers ever talked to users.”This doesn’t happen any longer. Pressing Home takes you to the beginning of the sequence and End takes you to the end of the sequence.

I only know about Smartsound SonicFire Pro and it does work. I may try the other plugins and let you know.

I have tried a lot of cards and the best cards are IMO the Canopus ADVC convertors. Yes, they do cost a little bit more than the other cards, but they perform much, much better.

Bridge will only show you the projects and not the timelines.

When you have created your nested multi-cam sequence and have enabled the multi-cam functionality in the clip, go to your Program Monitor.
In the program monitor, click on the flyout menu and select Multi-camera monitor.
