Like Walter said you REALLY need to sit down and do some research and get some basic under standing of things down.
BlueRay is not higher then HD, BlueRay is simply a disk media format like a CD or DVD. BlueRay compares to a DVD like a DVD compares to a CD, it simply just holds more data nothing more then that. It is SIMPLY a disk that holds a lot of data. Because it holds a lot more data then a DVD will, it makes it possible to put a HD movie on to the disk in a format that can be played on a set top player. BlueRay it self is not a video format persay, but a way of delivering your HD video content.
BlueRay is simply a disk that holds data, like a DVD or CD holds data. A BlueRay DVD video is simply a high quality video that is put on to that large capacity disk. And because the disk has a high capacity it is capable of storing a feature length or longer HD video.

You will NOT get real time video, the video will stutter a LOT and there is NO audio.
I would look into a MaacBook Pro to take back and forth.

Most editors will keep there secrets a secret for a reason, to keep the edge there own.
My best suggestion is to go see what other wedding videographers in your area are offering, wedding and bridal shows are a good place to start. Watch there demo videos that they are showing and make note of what they do and things that you think could make the demo better or stand out more. You then go and do those things you think may make it better or stand out more.

Better yet two ladders set to the same hight with a plank spanning the distance between the two ladders. Then mount the camera on the plank, and run a cable out of the AV out to a monitor for preview. And many cameras come with a remote that you can use to start and start the recording.
The biggest problem I see with a mirror is if you don’t get it mounted well it could fall and injure someone. Falling mirror glass is more dangerous then a plank falling.

Nest your HD sequence into a DV timeline, then render and output to tape.
The reason you cant go directly from your HD time time to DV tape via firewire is because you must generate a DV signal that the camera can read.

Let me get this strate you compress your video to a H264 file and then let Toast compress that file again.
That is adding a compression on top of a compression.
Why not stick with a simple one compression approach. Export a quicktime using current setting (no compression here) then pull that file into compressor and use the DVD preset (that will be your only time compressing) Then pull your DVD ready files into DVD SP.
Now for you issue.[harris tobing] “the end result is that my audio is not synced w/ picture. Why?”
Is the audio synced in the H264 quicktime you exported. If it is it may be an issue with Toast.

I assure you there is NOTHING wrong with my machine it runs PERFECT. It is the fact that the video is from the the internet. I am betting that if I were to take my machine to a location with a better internet connection it would play fine. The internet available in america is OVERALL at crappy speeds. THe ONLy way to have a good web video solution in the US is to have it capable at playing fine at LOW internet speeds. Ether that or convince all the internet companies to upgrade the speed in all locations.
If you had fully red my point I said that my internet speed is s1.3 tops and that that is the highest I can get in my part of town and I live in the largest city in my state.
In NO way is it the computer. It is the crappy internet speeds available in america. So unless you can deliver that high of quality video with out buffering or rebuffing LOTS of people in this country are going to have problems.
