To split the clip you need to do this in the timing pane not a project pane. Select the clip in the timing pane and place a yellow tooltip icon where you want it to split. Then under the edit menu (I think under that menu) use split command.

Resize the canvas to 200x200pix. Under edit menu go to project settings. There you can resize your canvas to what ever size you need. Or just crop your image in photoshop after export. It will be 72dpi.

Sorry, such plugin does not exist. The only way I know is to have those names in a separate text layers than you will need to apply behaviors to them separately.
Maybe try using replicators in some way. Very difficult one. -
That us a very good point. Convert your movie to mp4 and complete your rotoscoping. Make sure it has the your footage had the same name. Then reconnect with a better quality version at the end. Bear in mind motion dies write your footage intro ram of your computer if I an not mistaken.

I don’t think you have wasted your money, you will for sure render things quicker than someone on a lower spec machine. No software will use 100% of it’s power, i think it is misconception to think it does. You need memory and processing power to run your operating system and what ever else is running on your computer. I think you have a nice machine and it will serve you well, buying the computer is always an investment and in my opinion a good one. Think about how much less time you will need to sit in front your computer to see your results, bearing in mind that in most cases you will need to render your project.

Sime answer is that you can not. It works the way it works. You just have to live with it like the rest of us.

Strange,
Rather than using a box, use a line and set it to 3d. Use start point to 0 and end point to line at 0 then twirl the end point and set the Z position to what ever you need, also increase the points to what ever number you need.

HI Back,
I have the same tablet, however I have MacPro, I have no issues with the tablet when using it in motion. Can you delete the preferences of motion please, this fixes lots of issues. If this does not work than I assume it is a issue with using the driver and motion on Mac book Pro.
Let me know have you fix your problem.
