Frame blending for the retimed part only?
I’m trying to speed up the end part of a clip with frame blending ON. It’s almost fine, but frame blending is applied to the entire length of the clip, even where it plays back at 100%. Is there a way to avoid that?
I really need the blur on the fast part, but not on the other. Any suggestions are highly appreciated 😉

Split the clip at the frame where you want the retiming to start and then apply the retiming to just that section.

To split the clip you need to do this in the timing pane not a project pane. Select the clip in the timing pane and place a yellow tooltip icon where you want it to split. Then under the edit menu (I think under that menu) use split command.
