How big is your project file. I can look it it for you if you want. Maybe we can find a way for you to send it to me. Although It must be with all of the assets.
I am pleased you know now about backup of Apple Motion files in your document folder. This have saved me few times in the past.
In future you can set up how many copies Motion saves by going to preferences of motion then cache then look for autosave.

I am not an expert on FCP, but I would apply deinterlace filter in FCP, this should fix the problem.

    HI,
try pressing (shit+C) see what happens. Please check that you have not by accident moved from colour to transparent or alpha mode. Maybe try shif + option + C.

If this does not work, you can refer to the backup files that apple motion creates sort of saves versions of the same file. look in your home directory/documents/apple motion/ then find the file you have worked on. Maybe you can recover an earlier version of your project. This could mean that you have to redo some part of your project but it would surely beat recreating the complete projects.

Have you tried using snap alignment to motion path behavior which is under behaviors/basic motion. See if this help. Try applying it to cell or the replicator.

If the object is white or black colour the tint filter will not effect it. Change the colour of the object in photoshop to another colour and apply tint filter.

What was the codec you have used while exporting from flash. Try using full quality Animation codec in the set up. then import the movie agian.

Or maybe you need to see that both codecs of both movies are exactly the same. You can find out what was a original movie codec in Quicktime.
Then apply the same codec to Flash exported movie. To know which codec you are using open the movie in quicktime and press command+I you will then see the information and the codec used within the movie. I hope this helps.

Try pressing 7 on your keyboard or go to window/HUD. If this does not work. Then try to delete the preferences (to delete preferences go to /home_directory of your computer/library/preferences/com.apple.motion.plist (delete this file and restart Apple Motion)

Failing this you have to reinstall Apple Motion from a original disk. This usually fixes all problems.
