Movies are shorter in Motion
Posted by Simon Malcolm on September 11, 2009 at 2:00 amHi there, I’ve exported a .mov from Flash to overlay on top of a video clip in Motion with a view to match moving to the slight shifts in the video clip.
However, the 5:37 .mov is 1:58 when it gets into Motion…it’s shorter…is there something I’m doing wrong?
Thanks,
Simon.

September 11, 2009 at 7:09 amWhat was the codec you have used while exporting from flash. Try using full quality Animation codec in the set up. then import the movie agian.
Or maybe you need to see that both codecs of both movies are exactly the same. You can find out what was a original movie codec in Quicktime.
Then apply the same codec to Flash exported movie. To know which codec you are using open the movie in quicktime and press command+I you will then see the information and the codec used within the movie. I hope this helps. -

That is probably it. Snapz Pro forced my videos to 15fps but said it was 30. In Quick Time it will tell you what frame rate it is playing and what frame rate it is. Funny how those could be different. Once I got the video to the projects frame rate everything work as it should.
