Just figured it out, this is amazing. If anyone has a question about this here we go. In c4d complete your text how you want it. Then (in c4d) File>export>3d studio. Great but now what. Open photoshop CS3 extended and open your 3d object that you saved. we that’s great it from the side and the lighting wrong. so in your layer palatte you’ll see your 3d object and in the bottom corner there is a little box. double click on that and bam. your working with 3d in photoshop. the top panel at the top of your screen allow you to rotate, move, and scale your 3d object. to the right of those the very next button is the lighting controls. Hope this helps some body out.

getting back to this post… I actually want the ground underneath the buggy to push up… multiply pieces breaking and some of them aiming down some up. kinda like this https://www.onesize.nl/ on their 2007 showreel. It’s within the first 10 seconds.

are you control clicking the little circle next to the scale, rotation, positions. Each one has it’s own.

i didn’t know if I should make a new post or not, I’m kinda wanting the same thing except, I’m wanting to bend cable or wire. I have already made an object but i’m wanting to curve and act like wire. (not growing but if i move one side the other side will snake behind, like a rope that has be tied to a pole and your moving the one end that’s not tied.

  • I have a friend that shot an entire film without noticing that he had about 8 pixels missing from all of his shots. this is how he fixed his problem, it might you out, and it’s all built in to after effects 7 and CS3. go to effects and presets and look up CC Simple Wire Removal. It uses a built in cloner to match objects around it. You might have to do it alot, but it’s the cleanest way that i’ve seen.

alright this is even more weird. I can export QT if I use the render queue. but if i export from “export” in the file dropdown it shuts down.

so thats what you do with baking. I was pretty sure you didn’t do it to muffins and have been clueless to what you use it for. so it’s textures that you bake…cool

The whole reason I was asking was that the render times were unbearable. but now that i’ve taken of amb occ. it’s ok, doesn’t look as good but it a good reference till i have the time to render it out with amb occ.

I’m using the newest version pro. I usually export as animation, but sometimes I use dvcpro. neither one of them will allow me to export, it just has the error and shuts down. But if I export as anything else say avi with the same codecs then it’s fine. But i need it to be in QT.
