I have to ASAP make a text object , probably mograph, and throw it into photoshop without the background. basically i’m just needing just the 3d text with the lighting and materials on it, what would be the easiest way to do this on the fly?

Just figured it out, this is amazing. If anyone has a question about this here we go. In c4d complete your text how you want it. Then (in c4d) File>export>3d studio. Great but now what. Open photoshop CS3 extended and open your 3d object that you saved. we that’s great it from the side and the lighting wrong. so in your layer palatte you’ll see your 3d object and in the bottom corner there is a little box. double click on that and bam. your working with 3d in photoshop. the top panel at the top of your screen allow you to rotate, move, and scale your 3d object. to the right of those the very next button is the lighting controls. Hope this helps some body out.
