    Thanks Jerry and Blaise!
    Both you are great help!
I would go for Blaise plan since I still need to edit “full screen” side. Its one simple edit but stacked like 15tracks . Nesting them would be a pain imho.
I will give a shot this weekend and see how it goes.

    thank you!!

    Hmmm,

I thought Black Magic card is now fully compatible with ProRes 422….
Having unexpected black is recognized both on write to tape windows on FCP, on tape and external HD monitor as well….. I am not so sure this sis a black magic cards issue here…

    Thank you everyone.
I set resolution 1440 1080 and film format untouched. set pixel to 1.333:1. All seems to fine, I still need to check if the setting is properly imported in the sequence setting.
I would like to thank you all for supports ;o)

    unfortunately, I have 10, not 10.5 or 11.
When I am trying set 1440 1080 and tried to set it at 16×9 manually, resolutions would adjust itself to 1440 810… There is noway I can adjust resolution rocked to 16×9.

  • thanx for quick reply…. Yes. Image sequence was the first option I was thinking about. I still seek more options in these pipeline/workflow so I can be ready for whatever happens to the real life situation. One guy was talking about ProRes decorder for windows, yet I am not so sure how it will function in inter-platform/application work flow.

Please let me know what you guys think about it!

    Thank you!

I went to render settings>option>ray depth-after I increased few numbers, shadow disappear. Is that where I should modify, right?

Thank you for your input. I actually combined both displacement map and hair. I am still having a hard time to make both look seamless in out put….I will tweak it more 2 see what I can do..

Well, What I meant was to create a large land scape filled with grasses. If I tried to create land scape entirely with hair module, it will take forever to render. I was going to use displacement map, yet I really liked hair module for the details I can have control over. I was wondering if you specialists have some wisdom to share with newbies like me. Thank you;-)

Yea, this is a great tutorial. I actually bumped into this tutorial while back when I was trying to work on my way to get my alpha encoded mov to work a front of textured background. This mov file has graffiti write on effect created in Motion. I was also seeking the way to do same animation in C4D, yet I had no luck. I thought alpha can work in C4D-and that was my mistake. I am doing this animation for my demo and it is no rush at all. I am enjoying my learning experience! Plus It seems to me that having PFHoe Pro is great for this project, and it’s a nice add to my tool box. Thank you guys for giving me great tips and expanding my horizon;-)

Ah, too bad. I am more experienced w/ Shake, Not AF. I have heard that AF is great to work with C4D….I should try AF out and see…
