1440×1080 16:9
Posted by Yasu Kominato on October 14, 2008 at 2:44 amhello,
I have been working on HD project for cable TV show and I was wondering I can create custom presets.
usually HD is 1080i 720i aspect ratio is 16×9. but for the cable show, I have to make 1440×1080 and its aspect ratio must be locked to 16×9. is there anyway I can do this on C4d? thank you!Yasu Kominato replied 17 years, 7 months ago 3 Members · 5 Replies -

October 14, 2008 at 5:00 amUsing Cinema 4D R11/ OSX 10.4.11
Render Settings / Output / Presets (the little triangle) / Film/Video / HDV 1080 25 /
(1440 x 1080 HDTV 16:9 Anamorphic)If you have an older version of Cinema you might have to put in those settings manually…
Cheers

October 14, 2008 at 5:33 amunfortunately, I have 10, not 10.5 or 11.
When I am trying set 1440 1080 and tried to set it at 16×9 manually, resolutions would adjust itself to 1440 810… There is noway I can adjust resolution rocked to 16×9. -

October 14, 2008 at 9:10 amWell, 1440 x 1080 is “widescreen” or “anamorphic”… presented as 4:3…
I render those settings all the time from Cinema 4D or else…
(Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) HD 1440 x 1080 16:9 (1888 x 1062)If you look at your 1440 x 1080 render-files you’ll see they’re slightly squeezed,
but later in your Video-Editor stretched out to full 16:9 = 1920 x 1080 pixels…Cheers

October 15, 2008 at 4:05 amYasuyoshi, I’ve got to figure it using C4D v.8, so don’t feel bad. Remember that the pixel aspect ratio will need to be adjusted too. 1×1.33 maybe? Anyway, just a thought…

October 15, 2008 at 9:16 amThank you everyone.
I set resolution 1440 1080 and film format untouched. set pixel to 1.333:1. All seems to fine, I still need to check if the setting is properly imported in the sequence setting.
I would like to thank you all for supports ;o)
