Unfortunately it looks as if adobe has removed this feature from CS3. They are forcing you to use encore for dvd burning. Hopefully you have figured this out and decided to use encore instead of waiting for an answer in the spirit of saving time. I feel your pain though because this feature was extremely useful when you wanted to kick out a quick and dirty dvd. I am not sure if it has been re-added to CS4 but I hope so.

Michael,
Here is what I do….
Export your bad frames from your editor. Also export the previous or next good frame whichever matches the bad frame best (tough with frames containing lots of action). Then layer the bad frame over the good and try to mask/copy/paste out the “noise”. This is a bit time consuming but I have had great success fixing extremely bad frames. after completing your fixes import the “fixed” file back into your NLE and place it over your bad frame. after fixing a few frames your efficiency improves dramatically.
I havent had much luck with editing video clips in PS, but I dont really think I dedicated the time to learn. Hopefully there is a better solution if you have several bad frames.
Good luck,

Save the file under a different name (so you dont ruin your original). then flatten you image before creating the pdf. I cant explain what is causing your text to disappear, but this should get your pdf image to your client.
Good luck,

Emma,
Go to Image in the file menu and then go down to pixel aspect ratio and change it from square pixels to D1/DV PAL

Ken,
If you are not familiar with AE, try creating extra large (at least double your screen size) titles in photoshop and import them to PPro. Then you can scale them down when placed in your timeline. From there set keyframes for scale and position where the title starts smaller and then scales up toward the screen and flies out of frame.
Good luck,

Or try using a luminance key. Not ideal but will work on your black background. Ideally the exported video would have an included alpha channel. Look at exporting to a mov with “millions of colors +” as your color choice.

Dave,
trying making your texture tile at 128×128 pixels. This should give you a useable seamless tile (depending on your design)and assuming your background is divisible by 128 (height and width). Are you creating this from scatch? PS has some great default textures for tiling or you may be able to find free textures on the web.
If your design becomes too small, create a larger canvas, but make sure to keep it divisible by 128. (ie 256×256) or larger.

Mark,
I am not a FCP user, but you may want to check your export settings in FCP. What you are doing is straight forward or at least should be. I dont believe that your issue is mac vs. pc.

Try using levels or curves after you have selected the red or your roses and then tweak from there. When in levels or curves you can try selecting the individual channels for extra effect.
Or try using the burn tool

Call me what you want, I dont take offense. Can you put this video clip online so we can see it? You may get more helpful advice. I wouldnt go the PS route because of the large number of images you would have to work with. although I bet you get pretty darn good with the clone/patch/repair tools.
