Define blemish. You could handle this “touch up” in Premiere, FCP or After Effects. Does this blemish exist on all frames or just one? If it exists on one frame, you may be able to export that single frame to an image file and fix it in PS. Otherwise you may want to utilize your NLE.

    Good Luck,

    Anita,

If both canvases are the same size, dragging and dropping with the shift key down will hold your position values. Otherwise the image will be centered on the new canvas.

    Good luck,

    Mark,

There are a couple ways of doing what you want. Try this one:

    1. Place your clip in the time line
    2. Place the timeline marker on the frame you would like to freeze
    3. Cut your clip at that frame
    4. Right click on that frame and choose “Frame Hold”
    5. Choose the “In” frame option

depending on how much video you have after your cut will depend on how long you can display your freeze frame.

    6. right click on you clip again and choose “speed/duration”
    7. un-link the two options by clicking the chain link
    8. enter 5 secs for you duration

If you get a flicker in your freeze frame, you may want to right click on the freeze frame clip again and go into the “field options” and choose “flicker removal”

    I hope this helps.

Thanks to both for your suggestions. i tried adding a wiggle and but was receiving errors. Perhaps my values were out of range. I will try this again. Thanks again.

    Mark,

If you are familiar with levels, this should be an easy fix. This could also be completed probably quicker in your NLE so you dont have to export the footage from AE to your NLE. If you are using premiere I know you can do it there.

    Good luck
