I exported a still frame from FCP 4.5 and saved it alternately as jpeg, .tif, even .pdf. I then saved to disc to bring over to my PC for Photoshop Elements 6.0. It refuses to import any of the files because they are “an unsupported file.” I can save them to the desktop and view them, but PE doesn’t like them.

Is the problem because I’m going from Mac to PC? Is there a proper way to do this. I can open the files in the editor, but not bring them into the organizer.

    Thanks.

    Mark,

I am not a FCP user, but you may want to check your export settings in FCP. What you are doing is straight forward or at least should be. I dont believe that your issue is mac vs. pc.

Install QuickTime on your PC as well…
