Are you rendering the change prior to replay ?

Open the keyboard shortcuts from the bottom of the edit menu.
From there you can make them anything you want.
Here is more info:

Select your layer for position info and hit p for position. ALT-Click the stopwatch to activate animation and to reveal the expression control. Make your keyframe layout You might also like a follow path command if a pattern is involved.
Select your layer for opacity and hit t for transparency. ALT-Click the stopwatch to activate animation and to reveal the expression control.
click on the spiral icon ( the pickwhip) and drag it to the position property of the target layer. The expression language should reflect the change of control.Using the graph editor on your keyframes to refine the movements and changes with acceleration curves and easing will make it look very nice. If you are unfamiliar with that don’t be afraid to play with those controls.
Sometimes this simple means will do the trick.
For more control of other layers create a null layer from the layer menu and give it an expression control. A slider will work.
Then pick whip the properties of the other layers to the slider.
Here you would drag connections for your position and opacity.Adrian D\’Alessio aka; Fluxstringer

That will be the only way to learn.
C$D was a great program in the Amiga Days.
It still has great tools and interface.Adrian D\’Alessio aka; Fluxstringer

And you opened the in/out/duration times on the timeline panel and everything for all layers is good there right?

May 17, 2016 at 9:33 am in reply to: How should I correctly import a Premiere project with Looks and LUTs to After Effects?Open the project folder in Pr first.
Convert as necessary.“save as” if converted .
Try importing that version into an AE composition.
Check to see that all of the layer properties are included.Import the full project folder.
Then if you intend to work them simultaneously use the dynamic link to connect them.
Sometimes a Dynamic link export from Pr does leaves out files in AE.
IN the AE Project window look at all files and folders. Do any icons look like a color bar test pattern?
If so select it and right click to get the menu. Select ” Replace Footage”.
if that is the case.
Navigate to the sources folder and find the missing footage. If the project has been sent to you without all files you will need to acquire them.Find what works for your system.
Taking notes of the Lumetri settings for comparison could aid you in checking accuracy.
Theoretically import-export should work fine in either or both directions. In the real world success can be a moving target. Some work-arounds will get you through to your deadline using whatever means necessary.

You cannot select any pixels from a layer that has no pixels.
You are still working with the “new layer” activated.
Activate the layer you want to select from..

May 17, 2016 at 1:02 am in reply to: Animating a Photoshop Filter in After EffectsSome artists refer to still frames with various color or luminance ( I.e>) masks) as filters.
So users some may also consider that since it is made in photoshop it is a ” photoshop filter”.

You do not give any hardware or system specifics.
Open a project in Pr, and have your doc open too.
Start your task manager or activity monitor and look at the tasks and the system resources for RAM and CPU. Make note of how much is being used by which tasks.Do the sequence you say causes this behavior and look at the monitor again. What has changed? CPU and RAM use or something else like another program starting too, or a cued web access by Word?
How is your Adobe RAM use set up in prefs?
What about disk access. Is everything on the same disk?Adrian D\’Alessio aka; Fluxstringer
