January 24, 2020 at 1:30 am in reply to: PNG image changes after importing (after effects)Did you check all preferences in AE for display hardware? Did you set the AE color space to match the PNG bit space ?
Did you look in project settings for anything else effecting color profile?Have you looked at frame properties to see if they all match and set up your composition for that profiles?

January 24, 2020 at 1:22 am in reply to: How can I create an animation like this?It can be done using Expressions alone and there are scripts for them in the effects files. You can go to an aescripts site toe get more.
But asking us to put months of training into a method nutshell you are already looking to avoid won’t get much response. The plug in route is an option but even that may be too complex for a fast fix.

I will speak , for what it is worth. I mean no disrespect to your situation.
Personally I would rather have new software that was a legitimate copy and no ” issues” on an old CPU than an i7 8700 with old software which will always create issues.
A better balanced yet underpowered system always seems less trouble than trying to tame an imbalanced system which will never really be tamed. I tried that for years with Premiere Pro trying to run in VM on Windows 7. It was crappy as hell.

I saw a Linus tech test on that new Asus with the Rizen 7. Not an intel. But maybe an affordable graphic work station.

I am sorry, I thought I had closed out this thread a year ago. But thanks for checking it out Ricky.
My HP Z600 has a dedicated non standard power supply.
I did find the correct power adapter at the store but only after finding the other connections needed hidden in a false tray of the unit.
The GTX 780 SC model I have is too long to fit in the primary slot. It works just fine in the bottom slot. I still had to remove the card stabilzer on the side cover and added some trimmed foam. It has been doing well for a year.
All monitoring utilities show it is never overstressed and plenty cool.It has done some complex AE work and plays Doom on Steam quite well.

June 14, 2017 at 1:12 pm in reply to: Latest updates of AE and PrPro broke Keyframe Value retention,I have not tried last night’s update yet. But I just read a long list of “fixes” and what I have related here I do not see in the list in any form.
On an Adobe post in Facebook I put this into a reply to the official admin comment.

In the latest update from last week?
I was experiencing that too, but my other problems made me think it was just the intense keyframe math load.
But my GTX 780 SC should have handled it.Adrian D\’Alessio aka; Fluxstringer

After Effects CC 2017.2
Version 14.2.0.198These are updates from last week. Thursday or so.
I was trying to do a short web video to illustrate something. It took 10 times as long as expected, repairing and repositioning.
Layer position key frames and opacities were constantly being lost.
Also the user settings were not in place.A horror show.
