PNG image changes after importing (after effects)
Hi. I have a FOG (atmosphere channel) png secuence exported from cinema 4D. 1800 frames. when i see any of the frames it looks as it is supposed to look (my computer viewer)
but after I import the images to after effects it looks way different.(after effects viewer)
I think it has to do with the PNG format itself. I say so because when I uploaded the image to this forum it also changed. I had to re-save the first image to upload it again so the issues could be seen and unseen.
I dont want to resaved all 1800 frames by hand.
any suggestion? is this the rigth forum. or do I need to be redirected to a different one. thanks in advance(EDIT) by the way. i am cheking random images and I noticed that the last 100 frames are really weird. if I go to my folder and double clik one of those images it pops up right, but after 1 second it changes to the other image. this is the craziest thing I ever seen from a png rendered frame.

I suspect this is a color management issue. Can you post one of the PNGs?

thanks. you mentioned color management issue. i looked info in google and found the issue. i had to interpret the file in after effects i change the color management option and that was it

Did you check all preferences in AE for display hardware? Did you set the AE color space to match the PNG bit space ?
Did you look in project settings for anything else effecting color profile?Have you looked at frame properties to see if they all match and set up your composition for that profiles?
