How about using Echospace from Trapcode. I think it was made to so something just like that…There’s also another plugin that deals with tons of 3d array objects in AFX but I can’t rememeber the name, i think they made Geomancy…..

thanks for the help. I just went back to a older file and used it. For some reason when using long lings of 3d text the computer slows to a crawl. I have a G4 at work which is having the problems, but at home on my AMD it floats right thru it. The effect has to be done, because it’s a bunch of news promos and they all need to look the same, and of course some are already airing!:) It’s taking nearly 12 minutes a frame to render and the only thing on screen is 6 lines of 3d text. Any suggestions, workarounds, any help at all will be great!

Use Retimer from Realviz. It’s got amazing quality and very easy to use.

after really close examanation of your file i see that one of the layers has a keyframe with a little
x under it and the pixel speed is different. Can you explain what you did there? I’m curious
what these settings are…thanks for your help. -
Another way is to export out of AE to .tif or .tga sequences and import those in. Works great for me.
