Aspect does up to 1440×1080 8 bit and Prospect does full 1920×1080 at 8 or 10 bit
Do you really can record with Xena HS+Aspect HD ? Cineform indicates only Prospect HD 10bit codec
for ingest through HD-SDI.

November 1, 2005 at 3:46 pm in reply to: Anaglyphic 3d in Vegas 6?

3d video from a single video source possible, but very expensive:
https://www.in-three.com/
For dual camera rig or Camcorder with NuView adapter its easy:

Good luck!

September 29, 2005 at 7:48 am in reply to: Mpeg audio in DVD Architect

Seth Bloombaum, thank you for suggestion.

Terje A. Bergesen,
recompression of original (fully DVD compliant stereo 384Kbps, 48Khz)
mpeg audio stream of MUSIC videos means the losses in quality!
These clips was encoded by Optibase MovieMaker200 from digibeta through SDI
and i don’t want to worsen the quality of the sound and video.
I’m aware, impossibility to choose mpeg audio for PAL project-
is mistake of DVD Architect programmers.

Daikin Scenarist,Spuce Maestro,DVDlab,Ulead DVD WorkShop and CodeJam DvdComposer
do not have such restrictions. My opinion this is bug, which must be corrected.
PAL DVD projects without possibility use mpeg audio simply foolishness of programmers.

You can to edit in Vegas only decrypted VOB,which contained only SINGLE mpeg video and SINGLE mpeg or pcm audio tracks. If inside VOB muxed few audio(ac3,dts) and subtitles streams-Vegas crashed.

May 17, 2005 at 9:22 am in reply to: Any idea on Windows 5.0 drivers?

I have seen this message in another forum:

We have done some developement for the Black Magic cards, we even showed a prototype of Aspect HD using a Black Magic at NAB. However the drivers for AJA are more mature at the moment, we find more reliable performance with AJA so that is currently the recommended HDSDI solution for Prospect HD. In time we may add Black Magic support to PHD — no promises. David Newman
CTO, CineForm Inc.

Question to BMD. Do you plan to support in new drivers this amazing CFHD codec (Aspect 8bit and Prospect 10 bit)? Thank you!
