If you mean 4 channels of camcorder audio, the answer is Scenalyzer.
If you mean something else, you need to be more specific.

If I’m not mistaken, the only special thing about the BWF format is that it contains extra data such as timecode and therefore won’t do what vsv wants.

To vsv, if it’s a 5.1 surround track you want to import, you’d need to save them out as separate channels in another application that offers this feature.
If it’s six separate channels, they can be imported separately and then lined up in Vegas.
My apologies if this is not what you’re after but saying “six channel in wav container” still doesn’t tell us much.

A wav file can contain from 1 to 8 channels (bitrate up 6144 kbs). It’s not only the ac3 and dts files that can do this. Actually it is first the LPCM format that can be multichannel and then followed the compressed dolby and dts formats.
Unfortunatelly Vegas does not have this option to export to multichannel wav. More pro audio software like Steinberg’s Nuendo can do this with ease.

A wav file can contain from 1 to 8 channels …

Thanks for the info Fotis_Greece. I knew Vegas couldn’t do it but, since I’m not an audio engineer, I wasn’t really sure what could.

I sure would love to see multi channel wave capability added to Vegas!
