Hi Ryan,

You can create a 25P sequence by going to the general tab (next to presets) and picking 25P as the frame rate. And yes, you can edit in 720P as well.

Hi William,

3 to 6 Mb/s pretty high for standard streaming. Many people are still on 1 Mb/s connections out there.

3-6 Mb/s is more often used when you are doing scalable streaming where the speed changes according to a user’s connection speed.

At this point in time, I would keep the bit rate under 1.5 Mb/s and in VRR 2 pass. At the end of your post you mention “player”, which tells me that you may not be talking about streaming but download?

H.264 is pretty much it right now when it comes to compatibility with either streaming or download. There are different encoders out there, but better quality and price aren’t exactly linear.

Hi Michael,

As long as the frame rates match in all your footage, an AVCD 1080P sequence with matching frame rate will work just fine.

Remember, your sequence setting only determine quality for preview, your export settings determine the final quality.

Hi Nick,

Just pick any of the presets and go to the custom tab to set the correct frame rate. From there you can create a new preset for next time as well.

It sure sounds like a bios setting. Possibly a configuration set for a 32 bit system.

What is the brand / model of your board?

One of the few manuals I ever read (and the most boring) is the motherboard guide. Default settings almost never make for a smooth ride. At the very least, RAM voltage and timing should be set for the sticks you have in there.

Actually, you should only grab the files from the video folder. You can grab them all at once, and it should import very fast.

Are all your RAM sticks matching in size /timing / brand?

Is this a custom built, did you configure the BIOS?
