Have you given a shot to Denoiser ?
I used it last week to cover fan noise; it can work extremely well, it really depends on the range of frequencies covered by that particular noise.

Since you are distributing Raylight, would you mind telling us a little more about it, and do you offer a trial version?
I know Steven works with DVCPro, and I am looking for an alternative to HD SDI to reduce budgets on location shoot.

You haven’t mentioned what type of shoot you are working on. If there is anything in the scene that involves more than a nod of the head from your actors, you’ll want to go with a boom mic. Any Lavalier mic will pick up clothing friction anytime there is an upper body movement, and it ‘s very hard to get around it. A rental on this would be very cheap.

And on a side note, there will be a beta version release before the official one, it will be a great time to bring it up if it’s still there. Someone did mention of that issue going away on a 64 bit systems since you are able to use more than 2 Gigs of ram.

We won’t know that until we see the release fixes. They obviously wouldn’t announce the fix of a flaw from a previous version as part of new features.

What Codec are you using to export from Premiere ?
The only real options, if you want a “quality” DVD, is exporting uncompressed, or Mpeg2-DVD using Premiere Media Encoder.
Mpeg2 is the most efficient way, since it will only require one render. The video size also needs to 720×480/486 for NTSC.Vince

No preference to change the location, that I’m aware of.
You can try this. Move the folder to the location where it will be shared. Then in the Premiere directory where it was previously located, right click > new > shortcut, browse to the location of the shared folder, then rename the shortcut with the exact same name as the original template folder.
Let me know if that doesn’t work out.

Yep, I’ve had mixed success modifying templates as well. The first thing to remember is that you shouldn’t introduce new layers unless they are button objects, and a functional part of the menu. Also, make sure all highlights are still hidden. And, of course, make sure that you respect the (++),(+*) etc. symbols.

I think that’s only supported on DV Rack HD
That’s still a standalone version sold on the Adobe site.

It is my understanding that, unlike Adobe Encore, PP templates cannot be modified in PS.
