Finally upgraded to Symphony 6.5. DNxHD exports are now available in Premiere CS6.

Occasionally when opening an XML for the first time from FCP in Premiere CS6 I notice the volume in the sequence is at -∞. I can hear it in the Source monitor, but not in the Sequence. Dragging up the volume to 0.0 db usually does the trick. If you have keyframes set there might be additional problems.

Is it possible the sequence has “Show Track Keyframes/Volume” instead of “Show Clip Keyframes”
Having Track Keyframes/Volume selected will cause the entire tracks audio to change when adjusting the volume IN the Sequence.Victor

Ive always used the pop up window and thought the drop down was in addition to it. Now I see it is another way of adjusting the parameters of the filters.
Thanks,

For now, changing audio in the audio mixer adjusts all clips on that track. This will change when Premiere Pro CC is released. To change audio on a clip by clip basis you need to select the clip and change the levels in the sequence. This Andrew Devis tutorial will explain it better.

Hope that helps

Will Premiere Next not be able to export DNxHD on a Mac? Only PC? What if you have Symphony 6.5 installed on the same machine (Mac).

Were you able to import 18 sequences? WOW

The simplest way to do this is… Open Media Encoder, Import sequences, Export.
Sorry couldn’t resist. Seriously this is the only way I know how to export multiple sequences from Premiere.
I have imported multiple sequences, but not 18. See image below and search for the project file. Click to import the project and search for the sequences. I usually place all the sequences I need to export in one bin so I know I have found the correct ones.
If you made a custom export setting you need to save it as a preset in Premiere in order for it to show up in Media Encoder.
Hope this helpsVictor

I believe the most excited with this release are the switchers from other NLEs, me being one of them. CS 5.5 didn’t seem right for me at the time, but with the release of CS6 I was all in. Even tho I missed a lot of features from FCP & Avid there was a lot to like about CS6. Now with the soon to be released CS7 it seems Adobe has added many of the tools available in other NLE’s and added even more of their own to the mix. For long time Premiere users there are now additional tools to use in the edit. Thats Great. For those of us who switched from other NLE’s, Thats Awesome! We now have familiar tools we have long missed from our previous NLE and some new ones to learn as well.
