    I think the Juicer uses the XML files in:
    C:/Program Files (x86)/Digital Juice/Juicer 3/catalog/UpdatesXML

    e.g.:
    R2GSVPRO_V12INS.xml
    R2GSVPRO_V13INS.xml

    COW’s CODE button doesn’t format worth crap; I replaced < and > with [ and ].
    If you open one of these, it has:
    [product id = “Ready2Go for Sony Vegas Pro” name = “Ready2Go for Sony Vegas Pro” … ]
    [volume id = “Vegas Collection 12” name = “Vegas Collection 12” number = “” … ]
    [parent]
    [folder id = “Vegas Collection 12” displayname = “Vegas Collection 12” thumbnailimage = “”
    type1 = “4” type2 = “Ready2Go for Sony Vegas Pro” type3 = “” contentType = “Vegas Templates”
    VID = “Vegas Collection 12” Vname = “Vegas Collection 12” version = “1”
    Vnum = “12” catId = “” catName = “” subCatId = “” subCatName = “” subSubCatId = “”
    subSubCatName = “” volType = “Ready2Go for Sony Vegas Pro” PID = “32”]
    [content id = “122_CosmosSunshine_ET_HD” displayname = “122_08 Exit Text HD”
    type1 = “4” type2 = “Ready2Go for Sony Vegas Pro” type3 = “Templates”
    contentType = “4” folderName = “Cosmos Sunshine HD” TTFFileName = “Cosmos Sunshine”
    description = “Templates” resolution = “” resx = “” resy = “” originalfps = “”
    frames = “” matteName = “” motiontype = “” seamlesslevel = “” previewColourId = “”
    isIOL = “0” matteContentId = “” canBeOpndWthExtr = “1” dpi = “” encodingtype = “1”
    alphatype = “” audio_file1 = “” audio_file2 = “” full_screen_frame = “”
    song_length = “” thumbnailfilename = “” reserved1 = “122_CosmosSunshine_ET_HD.veg ”
    VID = “Vegas Collection 12” Vname = “Vegas Collection 12” version = “1”
    Vnum = “12” PID = “32” subSubCatId = “” subSubCatName = “” volType = “Ready2Go for Sony Vegas Pro”]
    [keywords/]
    [filters]
    [filter name = “Cosmos Sunshine”/]
    [filter name = “Vegas Collection 12″/]
    [filter name = “HD”/]
    [/filters]
    [/content]

    I’d venture that Juicer is using the values in the “filters” section.
    You could look for the appropriate Simplexity XML file and look for:
    folderName = “Oval Orbitals HD”
    folderName = “Block Openings HD”

    Just below that should be the filters block for each project.
    Maybe something is missing.
    Just a guess.

    I only have a few R2G packages. We could try compare a directory in Juicer’s source tree and see if the installed files match. E.g.:

    [dr]: / DigitalJuice / Juicer 3 / Catalog / R2GSVPRO_V##INS / [project] / [project]Sources

    Best I can think of.

    Stephen,
    Can you give me some examples of Previews you can’t see in the Juicer?

    I have some DJ stuff and have had a few issues but none like what Stephen mentioned. My observations:

    a. Some DJ stuff can be used w/o the Juicer. Editor’s Themekits, ETK Pro Singles, Animated Collections, etc. can be used directly in Vegas. These are jpg, mov, wav. The mov are QT PhotoJPEG or QT Ani(mation) if an Alpha is included.

    b. Music, although the final output is wav, must be Juicer-ed. DJ uses a proprietary format (STX?). Eg, w/ MusicBOX you can select the tracks, then export. I only exported full length wav(s).

    For DJ products requiring the Juicer …

    c. Make an ISO image(s) first. I think Stephen’s the one who suggested this. Use Virtual Clone Drive to mount it when needed. Leave the friggin’ DVD in its case thereafter. These are on an ISO images ONLY HD.

    d. Mount each ISO for Juicer installation. This is a separate HD for third-party content.

    e. For Ready2Go products, I’ve only exported 1920×1080-30p. I let Vegas handle moving to any other targets (1080-24p, 720-30p, 720-24p, …) rather than re-Juicer. Again, I only Juicer-ed the WHOLE project; it is easier for me to find what I need from the Juicer-ed directory rather than re-Juicer.

    f. I HATE DJ naming conventions. Eg, given project Foo, DJ’s SECOND variation is Foo Option 1 or Foo_Cop 1. I rename these to be Foo_v1, Foo_v2, Foo_v3, …

    g. I have seen bugs in a few Ready2Go projects. One was ghost text on a .mov. Fortunately, the .mov was taken from Compositor’s Toolkit so I grabbed a similar .mov and replaced the problem one in the Ready2Go .veg

    h. I have had problems reading one of their DVDs. I assume it is their DVD supplier vendor, not DJ directly. Tried 3 different computers. On the third copy they sent me, Windows was able to read/copy the problem .mov file.

    Summary:
    I try to spend as little time with the Juicer as possible. Eg, for a R2G product, I’ll ISO-image, Juicer install, Juicer export the WHOLE collection. Thereafter, if I need something, just copy the necessary Juicer-ed files, which in many cases is only the .veg files.

    “Original” height as what they “last” were before being minimized. What I’m getting is all the tracks are the same height; ie, tracks that were minimized are no longer minimized.

    July 10, 2013 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Vegas 12 rendering crash

    Since moving frame “74” doesn’t change the problem, I would look at: FX, Renderer, HD issues.

    a. Try turning off any FX you’ve added to the given track.
    b. What happens if you try to render the problem region with (eg) QuickTime Photo-JPEG (I assume you’re using MainConcept MPEG-2).
    c. Try copying/renaming the source media to a different location (maybe different HD) and using either Replace or Add As Takes. Additionally, you could use “chkdsk [drive] /f” on your source material HD.

    Any high bit rate format will do better than a W(indows) M(ucked-up) V(ideo) file.

    Try:
    QT Photo JPEG (.mov) <— this should work really well on a Mac
    Sony AVC (.mp4)
    AVI

    July 4, 2013 at 6:19 pm in reply to: Sony Vegas Problem!! NEED FIX ASAP PLS

    Sounds like:
    a. .veg was fine
    b. added a video file
    c. now it crashes

    If you know what the video clip is, rename it. Start Vegas, open your project. When Vegas ask about the “media not found”, leave it offline and see if the project opens.

    June 25, 2013 at 3:04 pm in reply to: How to render a clip with transparent background?

    You need an Alpha channel. Try Quicktime Animation, Quicktime PNG, or AVI uncompressed. I use QT Animation. Put the rendered file in your timeline, R-click, Properties and set Alpha to Straight.

    Have you tried using images of the original size or at least 2x greater than HD. If they were 3×2 (eg, DSLR image), then 3240 x 2160. If you want 16×9, then 3840 x 2160.
