I work on pc with Sony Vegas 10.
I have a guy editing my sound on mac with adobe.

I rendered him a few things that he asked for, but one thing he needed was a copy of the film with no sound.
I rendered the film in WMV 8mbps HD 1080 30p Video. (I think that this is the best one to render in?)
But the problem is his mac and adobe does not read WMV.

Is there a better format to render in so it works for him without lowering my quality?

Any high bit rate format will do better than a W(indows) M(ucked-up) V(ideo) file.

    Try:
QT Photo JPEG (.mov) <— this should work really well on a Mac
    Sony AVC (.mp4)
    AVI

Mac’s like QuickTime MOV and MP4 files. Render using the MainConcept AVC encoder with the Internet HD 720p template and that should be fine as a video reference file for audio editing and will work well with Mac’s.
