I can recreate the graph image. I didn’t know if I could animate a line like in Adobe Premier and totally recreate the graph in program.

Imagine a line graph, with the vertical line being growth and the horizontal one being age.

As an animal ages, bone growth plateaus first. (I want this line to appear as he’s talking)

Then muscle (same thing, but different line)

Then fat (same thing, again different line)

Close, there will be a screen behind me similar to a weatherman setup, however I also want to bring another smaller screen to my right with additional images and footage.

I cannot figure out how to essentially make the smaller screen static, while moving an image around inside it.

I’m not seeing the file, where would it be located?

    Thanks!

Sure this could definitely get me started! I need to make some more realistic crosshairs and targets, and that seems like it is going to be my hardest part of the project thusfar, as I don’t know how to use photoshop. (yet!)

I tried this and reset to defaults. Vegas works flawlessly until I try to render then the display screen goes black and the time to render continually rises with no frames being rendered.

I meant lower quality as in the actual video file when it is being rendered in split screen. Whenever I render, my preview window is automatically turned to “best”.

  • I’m running Vegas 12 now. It fixed some of the bugs and quirks of 11 that I noticed even as a very novice user, but rendering times are just so slow on my machine when I’m having multiple HD streams at once.

A side question, is there a way I could reduce the quality of the HD screens since they are only taking a fourth of the screen? I assume with a lot less data it would render faster.

  • Rendering in .wmv made it work smoothly, but the picture is not as crisp and colors seem washed out. Is there anything better to use for picture quality?

  • I have not, I’ve been using AVCHD (I think thats the format?) that matches the file type from the camera.

Everything is in sync, and plays surprisingly smooth in the video preview. No big issues at all.

What is a good video format that won’t take a ton of space?

    Thanks,
    Tyler
