Rendered video is laggy, frame rate stutters, and audio is behind.
I rendered a 25 minute video that is nearly finished to see how it would look when completely done.
Specific clips in the video start out looking fine, then they start slowing down and not being smooth, they “flash” (an issue I’ve had before, the brightness of the video just changes it seems like very fast), and the audio gets further and further behind.
I’m going to record a video of the issues and post it on here as soon as it is uploaded.
What could be causing these issues? There’s no way I can present the video with the playback issues I’m having.

After varifying that the clips are in sync and ok on the timeline,
Have you tried rendering to different formats etc and getting that

I have not, I’ve been using AVCHD (I think thats the format?) that matches the file type from the camera.
Everything is in sync, and plays surprisingly smooth in the video preview. No big issues at all.
What is a good video format that won’t take a ton of space?

Rendering in .wmv made it work smoothly, but the picture is not as crisp and colors seem washed out. Is there anything better to use for picture quality?
