How can I create these effects? (more info inside)

I need to make a short six second “intro” for this company:

They make metal rifle targets used recreationally and in competitions. I envision have three targets set up “in front” of the company name, overlaying crosshairs, and having them aim, shoot, and knock over the targets one by one to reveal “Big Dog Steel”.

How would I go about creating this effect? I am most clueless on overlaying the crosshairs and making the targets look as though they fall over, some more movement that simply falling straight back would be nice, the rest is pretty basic.

I used 3D Track Motion for something like this:

Target

I could attach the VEG file. It’s in VP12. I made the Crosshair in PSP.

Sure this could definitely get me started! I need to make some more realistic crosshairs and targets, and that seems like it is going to be my hardest part of the project thusfar, as I don’t know how to use photoshop. (yet!)
