I would use Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro for that- way easier to work with bevels, texturing and transparencies.

Create a path that follows the line, link a Null to it and the camera to the Null, animate the null to follow the reveal.

“I have embossed the text and added a concave bevel” – is it 2d or 3d text?
If it’s a flat (2D) text layer that you positioned in 3d space using the track data, you can precompose the text, leaving all attributes in the main comp, duplicate the text inside, have the top layer just outlines and the bottom fill only, and reduce the opacity of the bottom layer.

This is one of those situations where more is better – I would go for 2k.

Man- feel your pain. Here’s a few ideas:
Try opening the project with Caps lock on.
Try moving the project file out of the folder, opening it and then re-linking the assets.
Any chance you can install CS6 back? Then you can double check and see if somehow the file got corrupted.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

Psunami is the ocean generator for AE that can allow for pretty realistic ocean simulation.https://www.redgiant.com/products/all/psunami/
Then there’s the Aqua Pack for FreeForm Pro, a series of preset projects (by yours truly) that use FF Pro to simulate water:

September 5, 2013 at 1:01 pm in reply to: Combining shapes and edges automatically ( hard to explain – please read on)Animate the masks just for the inside image blobs. Render a simple white on black pass of the animated masks. Use Find Edges ( with invert checked on most likely) to create animated edges of the moving “blobs”- this will create separate edges for the fills as long as they are apart but will combine them once they touch. Use the result as a alpha for the bk video with a matte choker to expand and finesse the edge.
