  • Without you being more specific and without knowing your version of AE, here are a few things to do:
Use the Adobe website to learn the basics. There are a few good tutorials here, aetuts+, Lynda.com, videocopilot and many others.
Camera Track – create a camera that will match the real life camera move
Create elements- either in a design program, like Adobe Illustrator (vectors of the lines, numbers and all other stuff you want in the shot)
    Animate the elements
    Position them in 3d space
Pretty basic stuff, but as I said, spend time in the adobe help pages to learn the basics.

  • There are a few scripts (aescripts) that you could use if you have 3d layers, but in your cased I think an overall final color grade that includes the explosions can blend the elements better.

What exactly are you looking to create in your underwater scene? There are a few things involved in that so it would help if you can be more precise in letting us know (with examples would be great) what you’re trying to achieve using CC snow. If you’re trying to create floating particles, the Particular will do that just as good.

  • You may need to increase the mesh, however “puppet movement” does not tell us much. Are you using Puppet Tool or a inverse kinematic tool like duik tools? What version of AE, how is your setup… post a few screen shots directly in here (easier than to download .zip files)

Your workflow depends on your needs – if your animation is finished then render out in a loss-less codec good for editing and bring those clips in Premiere.
Your frame rate depends on the Television standard you are producing this for. NTSC has 29.97 fps but some stations require 60i, PAL 25fps but some require 50i and so on… figure out the specs from the TV station itself and set your frame rate accordingly. From here you will also find the codec and compression specs. There’s a ton of information on the subject on this forum so do some investigative work.

  • You can use the auto trace feature in Illustrator to vectorize the layers, however that still takes some work. I would suggest alternative options – there is a great plugin that works with map data directly in AE and it’s only 99 bucks:

I use the Remove Grain filter by itself or if I need to isolate the skin tones only I use that applied on a duplicate of the layer with Keylight and Invert Matte. Pretty happy with the results. You have to play around with the controls to see how much you want to smooth out the skin.

  • Isolate with a garbage matte the face/part of body/object you need to apply the liquify tool on. Precomp and stabilize that. This should give you a relatively steady object (depending on how good the track is). Apply your liquify effect and then reverse stabilize and comp on top of original. This should work- at least in theory.

  • Instead of having one layer of Element for all the parts of the logo, split that up in 2 or 3 separate layers of Element, each for one of the parts of the logo. This will give you better positioning control over the parts. You can generate a Null for each of the Element objects then and parent all to a Master Null to control the position of the whole logo.
