Hello ive been making a few stop motion short films with model tanks and am just looking for any hints and tips to improve the overall look of the filme especially regarding the environments.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YUqPMsptw8

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IrT5IeXo80

basically what i did in both videos is take photos of the foreground with most of the buildings and tanks against green screen and then i would take seperate shots of the landscapes and biuldings against green screen and add those in as background in after effects (i also used a few real world photos of the sky)

im mostly after tips on how i could blend each element into each other a little batter and creating distance and haze.

but if there are any other observations on anything in the video (even model making) feel free to comment

    thanks

There are a few scripts (aescripts) that you could use if you have 3d layers, but in your cased I think an overall final color grade that includes the explosions can blend the elements better.
