Diskwarrior is the best for disk utilities. I had a problem with a Lacie once and called them…they said the clicking and what-not indicated the power supply was bad. The sent me a new one (free) and now it works great! Check that out. Hope it helps.

Just a suggestion, so that you won’t have to re-render the whole 10 min clip each time you change a keyframe, use your blade tool and cut the clip on either side of where you plan on changes. Then, you’ll only have to render that small piece!

There’s one in livetype the I use as well. If the subject is moving, you would have to motion track it. Best done in AE or Motion. You could do it within FCP with keyframes but the result won’t be as good

Open them in either QuickTime or iTunes first, convert to .aiff @ 48k 16bit and you shouldn’t have any problems.
In the future, have your audio people send with those specs in the first place.

Check out compressor pack settings. Google “compressor pack” and you should find it. Tons of custom presets that include one for ps3. Worth the money!

After you copy the files from your DVD, cntrl-click one and select “info”. Then make sure it isn’t locked. Unlock it. When you put things on DVD, they become “read only”.

If you’re using FCP 6, use LiveType! Super easy and incredibly versityle if you dig in. Just check it out and if you need tutorials, check livetypecentral.com out. Some dog it but it’s amazing what it can do, easy, and a big mistake for Apple to drop it in fcs3!

East enough to do in compressor…just play with the settings until you get it right. OR you can spend $30 and pick up the settings pack available at: compressorpack.com and use the custom ones provided! Worth the money to have over 100 presets that are awesome!
