Not quite. It’s been like that since the Apple forums were reorganized around the middle of April. Don’t think there’s any direct bearing on FCP and NAB as the reorg was talked about for a while. I wish they hadn’t lumped them together either, but I don’t think it’s any time frame tea leave indicator, though this week is as good a bet as any.

How did he edit 320×180 media in a 720×480 sequence? Did he media manage it to make it DV size? Please post screenshots of the item properties of your sequence and the item properties of the media you’re reconnecting. If the sequence is 720×480 and the media is the same it should not look as you describe.

Please give the exact item properties of the clips you’re editing and the exact item properties of the sequence in which you’re editing. Select a clip in the Browser and press Cmd-9 or Edit>Item Properties>Format. Select a sequence in the Browser and repeat.

Editing in H.264 is never a good idea, but I guess it’s done.
720×576 anamorphic is supposed to look squashed; that’s what anamorphic means.

It should be, though it is often used to describe a frame rate. You even see it in camera manufacturer specification sheets.

Do you have clip overlays turned on? What happens when you put the pen tool on the level line?

App Store apps don’t have serial numbers. They’re activated by the Apple ID and password.
