I have crashed once, force quit once, and completely lost all connection to media that wasn’t in the Event folder. That’s just today. BTW, the lost connection to media was not related to a crash or after a crash.

Did you try control-clicking on the keyframe? Randy Ubillos demoed switching from easing to linear.

Try importing the iMovie project into FCPX without exporting a movie file.

I think the application is designed to use keywords as subclips and selects.

We keep hearing this re-written from the ground up stuff, but I’ve got to say I’m not seeing re-written from the ground up, I’m seeing a rework of iMovie with added features. This would be an excellent upgrade for iMovie, which is basically what it is.

This is a free update. Software Update is the way to do this. The application has to be correctly named and at the top level of the Applications folder.

Not sure what you’re doing that requires so much rendering. Do your clips match your sequence settings? Please give the exact item properties of the clips you’re editing and the exact item properties of the sequence in which you’re editing. Select a clip in the Browser and press Cmd-9 or Edit>Item Properties>Format. Select a sequence in the Browser and repeat.
